Joanna is an Award Winning, Record Breaking, Best Selling, Official Double Classical Number 1 Soprano.

Joanna shot to fame in 2017 when she broke records becoming the first independent artist to go straight to Number 1 in the Official Classical Album Charts with a debut album, “Stars Are Rising”. Her 2nd album, “The Rhythm of Life” also shot straight to the top of the classical charts on release. Both albums received critical acclaim across TV, Radio and National Press including Album of the Week in The Sunday Mirror.

Joanna has enjoyed success with two No 1 albums and four No 1 singles across the Official, iTunes and Amazon classical charts, including a top 25 and top 10 in the main chart.

No stranger to high profile performances, Joanna has sung on the pitch at Premier League and Championship Football Grounds, performed “Ave Maria”on the BBC’s Songs of Praise, has been lead soloist at the prestigious Bedford Park Proms, York’s Castle Howard Proms and Isle of Wight Proms. Joanna has also taken her own show to theatres up and down the UK.

Joanna has shared the bill with huge stars such as Kylie, Pixie Lott, Paul Potts and Paloma Faith. Joanna has also taken her headliner show on beautiful cruise ships around the globe.

Joanna has had the huge honour of being asked to be the vocalist on ‘Royal Platinum Love Song’ by the composer for the Royal Household ‘Olga Thomas’ to Commemorate Her Majesty The Late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s 70 Years of Marriage. Joanna was delighted to collaborate with Olga once again to sing the vocals on ‘His Noble Crown, A Coronation Gift’ for King Charles III.

Joanna recorded a very special version of World in Union, dedicated to the memory of Sergeant Matt Ratana. This heartfelt recording united voices and communities through a time of loss, celebrating Matt’s life and love of rugby through music. Released with the Matt Ratana Foundation, the recording reached No1 in the iTunes Classical Charts and No24 in the UK Singles Charts.

As a result of Joanna’s chart success she was awarded the first ever “Future Classic Women” Award, was winner of Best Album in the Clouzine International Music Awards and was included in West Essex Life Magazine’s 50 most influential people in Essex.

Between 2020 and 2022 Joanna hosted ‘Classical Gas’, a radio show for ‘Great British Radio’, with guests including Il Divo, Lesley Garrett, and Paul Potts.

Joanna is a visiting professor for The London Performing Academy of Music and writes a column for Classical Crossover Magazine called ‘The Rhythm of My Life’.
